Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., model 21 marine chronometer, 14 jewel key wind and set, straight line damascened nickel plate movement, with spring detent escapement and chronometer balance with helical hairspring, in a gimbaled brass bowl with screw bezel, contained in a mahogany box with brass hardware, and Arabic numeral, metal dial with wind indicator, black painted steel spade and poker hands, with key, serial #2E4836, c1941
CONDITION:
Box refinished and with a few minor marks and scratches, bowl and gimbals cleaned and lacquered, good bezel, glass with minor scratches, dial refinished, hands very good, movement with minor scratches, loss to blacking in engraving, dirty, one escape wheel tooth badly bent, staff good, will run through the good teeth before mislocking, key replaced.
